Received GHQ's Summary For Appointment Of New Army Chief (Pic ANP)

In a tweet from the official account of the Prime Minister's Office on Wednesday, it was said that a panel of names has been sent for appointment to the posts of Chief of Army Staff and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee in summary.

According to the statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will decide on these appointments according to the prescribed procedure.

Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb also said that speculations should not be made, after which DG ISPR issued a statement and confirmed that the summary had been sent.

Investigations Ansar Abbasi, editor of The News, said that while his report was correct, a few senior ministers tried to spread confusion over the summary.
