Ghanem al-Muftah was born in Qatar on May 5, 2002Ghanem al-Muftah was born in Qatar on May 5, 2002. As a child, he suffered from a disease in which the lower part of the spine cannot develop. When his mother wanted to enroll him in a school for primary education, many schools refused him and in the school where he was finally able to get admission, children were afraid to play with him due to his disability.
Ghanim al-Muftah is a well-known motivational speaker in Qatar and also owns a company called Gharissa-Ice Cream, which has 6 branches in Qatar and around 60 workers. With the support of his family, Ghanem also founded Al-Ghanem Foundation, a charity organization that provides wheelchairs to disabled people around the world.
In 2017, Anam al-Muftah achieved the blessing of performing Umrah without a wheelchair. He used to play football wearing gloves in his student days. Apart from football, he also does diving. And for the first time in history, instead of dancing and singing, the World Cup started with the recitation of Quranic verses.
